    • Customer support is unhelpful
    • I recently contacted Whynter's customer support about my refill port lid (that tiny kidney-shaped piece of plastic crap) being missing and they steered me to an outside vendor's website where I only had the option to purchase an entire new lid assembly for $14 plus shipping.
    • Based on my customer support experience I decided to replace this unit with a Cuisinart since Whynter apparently does NOT want anything to do with their customers
    • immediately I thought I would start with Whynter customer support to see if they had any ideas
    • The customer support is excellent as well; Ruth G. at Whynter helped me replace a part for my ice cream maker
    • (And, Whynter, if you read this, I'd recommend that you fix your customer support experience - hire more people or do a better job responding to requests - if you don't want PO'ed customers

    • As good as the machine itself however, is the customer support I experienced a few weeks ago when I noticed a minor problem with the much-used removable bowl.
    • OK 2 years in it now heats up after 15 mins and customer support from Whynter has been lacking.
