Used it with windows 10, the signal is extremely weak, my laptop built-in adapter had better reception, and I did try to relocate it in many locations

I don't know if this adapter is 4 star or 5 star yet because I have not owned and used it very long, however, the reception is great and the speed is a noticeable difference over the WIFI-N PCI-e adapter my laptop came with so the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the software it came with does not have an interface in its software to manage the device that works on
