The original NES was mono( the Wii versions of these NES games can be played in full stereo), the Sega Genesis's audio cables could not be played on a stereo(the Wii's Genesis's games can and even though the Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 systems audio cables could be hooked up to a stereo receiver the Wii versions of the same games sound twice as good.
