If you want to put a label under the clear cover on the spine, I would suggest a long, sturdy piece of paper, something like a strip from a manilla folder.

The only things I don't like about it - the plastic covering is a thin matte, not a thicker glossy material, and the bottom ring on the binder does not line up on it's own when I close the rings after opening them.
