It's overall build quality is sturdy and it has some weight to it, so it feels much more like a recording mic in a studio than a "toy" microphone that might run you about the same price if you don't shop around

i only used this mic for about two weeks before the cord connection gave out. not worth it, just go spend a bit extra for a more reliable product.

I think this product is definitely worth the $17 considering you can't even get a xlr cable for that price

The product itself was great, but we only used it for 3 karaoke nights and on the fourth it stopped working and didn’t turn on again

There is a strong chemical smell when the mic is first unpacked, but after 7-10 days of being aired out, the microphone no longer has a noticeable smell

The only concern I have with this, is the On/Off switch

The on/off switch is nice if you’re using it for live situations

The switch itself functions fine, but could feel a little studier and snap into place tighter

Also, my daughter who actually is a vocalist, pointed out how useful the ON/OFF switch is

The only thing that could be a con is that it has a kind of chemical smell that hasn’t gone away even though I’ve had it for two days.
