The tape on the back is strong enough and magnets are great at keeping my iPhone 6S plus securely in place.

I immediately had to use the extra 3M disc tape on the magnets and the magnets pulled off the plate on one of my phone's from the weak glue/tape used.

It worked great AFTER I bought STRONG double-stick tape from The Home Depot.

Do not buy this the magnet is way too strong for the sticky tape

Ended up buying better tape at Walmart than what came with the package.

The double sided sticky tape used isn't very good quality

I wrote the seller, who sent me a different, stronger tape, to attach to the wall.

But the tape on the discs and plates are very weak

The magnet is wonderful the sticky tape for attaching the magnet to your car is complete crap

I suggest using a stronger double-sided tape

As with any "sticky" tape, it's common sense that it should be placed on a smooth, clean and dry surface, otherwise it will not stick

Overall:I would have given the item 5 stars had the original sticky tape worked properly out of the box

The sticky tape mounting it to my dash is also very good

Love the concept but the 3m tape did not stick well with my dash.

I think the box had been sitting in some warehouse so long the tape and alcohol cleaner had both dried up

Other than that, it works as it's supposed to and isn't bad at all if you don't mind having a metal plate stuck to the outside of your phone or phone case.
