It fairly easy to pair with my Bose bluetooth 4.0 headset the 1st time

The receiver has excellent reception and works well indoors and outdoors.

it comes with very good reception (to me it's very important), indoor or outdoor, walking in the city or in the open area

That defeats the whole point.

I’m only using it to connect my iPhone to my great old HK receiver and my great dinosaur Bose 501 speakers

I am not using this unit for transmitting and will seldom use the analog output (which I have checked and sounds OK with a little lower gain,) but it is nice to know those functions are available

The audio is great, I use it in my car to listen to my music on my stereo from my phone apps.

Least expensive unit I have found with both analog and digital outputs

Overall, this is a great little portable unit to bring for trips and outdoor uses.

This unit worked perfectly right out of the box.

My best connection was no better than SBC codec (1 flash every 5 second) and the latency was so bad that TV was unwatchable

I assume there was an intermittent connection with or in this cord
