These steering wheels work really well with any racing game
I cant beleive how perfect this cheap wheels works so well way better than the madcats racing wheel wich I threw that piece of trash on the burn pile lit it on
This Xbox 360 wheel works great, Its awesome playing in race game, I wish I had one for my computer too.
The Microsoft XBOX 360 wireless controller works just fine with his PC, but not a chance with this wheel
I give this Xbox 360 Steering Wheel 5 stars because it works really good
As a hardcore gamer using PC based gaming rigs and peripherals as well as the Xbox 360 as a gaming console, I have been pleasantly surprised by the wireless speed wheel
the Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel is nice, but after an hour it gets tiresome
It is a great Xbox 360 accessory, but it is not officially supported by games
Based on how much the hubby plays with this, it's a good product and works well
This gift is great as a novelty gift for the racing fan that owns every xbox 360 racing game (which isn't much), but for every one else, the fact that this wheel is not a full controller (missing RB, LB, left and right analog sticks, and headset port) simply makes this product a hard sale when you can spend a few extra dollars for a fully functional xbox 360 controller.
Chose this product because of the brand name itself as oppose to other wheels
This is a very good product and I would recommend it to anyone, always shop at amazon to get the better price!
I did not like this product very much because they controller wheel does not include buttons LB and
Before I always had trouble steering with my controller but with this I just turn like a real car
You could use it competitively for slower cars only (up to maybe class A or S for Forza 4) but with fast cars it takes a lot longer to move the wheel than you fingers on a controller.
There is simply no way to tune anything other than tire pressure (the tuning category which initially appears). However, if you do not bother with tuning your cars, or you enjoy simple arcade games, this is probably an ok controller, but I cannot say with any experience or authority, I'm simply extrapolating its performance in regards to actually controlling the car during a race
In a close race with tight turns I end up steering like I was really driving the car on the screen.
Yes, you have to re-learn how to drive with this wheel, and you have to go back and grab a low end slow car and learn how to steer with the wheel, but once you do it feels so
I would have gave it five stars, but I think the omission of left and right bumpers is a flaw that Microsoft could easily rectify since it is needed for some games
The greatest flaw with this controller is that it totally lacks the shoulder buttons (LB and RB), meaning that even in Forza 4 you can't navigate certain menus, and any game that relies on those buttons will have problems
That being said, I want to bring up its fatal flaw: it doesn't have all of the buttons that are required for navigating menus
Its fatal flaw is the missing LB and RB buttons, it can't be used for career mode.
The greatest flaw with this controller is that it totally lacks the shoulder buttons (LB and RB), meaning that even in Forza 4 you can't navigate certain menus, and any game that relies on those buttons will have problems
I turned on simulation steering and adjusted the dead zones and it works like a charm
I have also tried many other realistic racing games and practically almost all racing simulator games support this Wireless steering wheel it even works really well in the crew however don't expect precise accuracy with non realistic racing games because there is a huge delay in the dead zone because I tried GTA V and Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed when I turn left and right up
If the game does not have "Advanced Wheel" or support , the steering may have a huge dead-zone (45-90 degrees) and basically make the wheel unusable
Dead-zone 50 degrees, not bad for not being recognized...
Works for most games, a few games have dead zones but other than that the wheel worked great
The only drawback is the removal of the right bumper (RB) and the left bumper (LB)
Doesn't have any LB or RB buttons on it therefore it's not compatible with a lot of games such as Need for Speed
It does lack the two trigger buttons of normal controller (LB and RB), so is only useful for racing and flying games that wont require those buttons
