This remote is a nice size and feels well made with soft touch rubber material all around it
The entire remote has a nice soft touch finish, the buttons are comfortable and it has a motion sense that lights up the button when you grab it.
Great little remote, feels great in the hand and the soft touch finish is nice
The remote is made with nice soft touch plastics, the button feedback is good, and it has one of those neato motion sensors inside it so that the buttons will softly light up when you grab it
The buttons light up when its moved, which is a nice touch
The Remote itself for functionality is great but the build quality is terrible with plastic backing and on mine I received the Xbox logo upside down
THe ownly downfall is that in some applications it isnt recognized as a proper controller which can be annoying as when i was trying to set up a fitness profile i had to go grab the controller.
The build quality is good, but the directional buttons are not forgiving
It feels a little awkward in the hand, but great build quality.

If they had one in bright Xbox Green, I would have gotten that.
Allows you to operate your xbox one without turning on your controller and burning through batteries
This Xbox One remote must be IR, since it doesn't work all the time if there are any obstructions in your way
I now have the Xbox one X now and again it works flawlessly
As an early adopter, I recognize that not everything works great day one, but this remote has made an already frustrating xbox one experience even worst.
The brand new out of the box remote would not work in the store either, the sales people could not explain why it was not working properly.
I hope Microsoft starts packaging this with the One, though I doubt that'll happen, as they'd lose peripheral sales
Last night I was able to properly connect my dish box and audio receiver and it works as it should
By the way, setting up the remote to work as my TV remote: effortless
THe ownly downfall is that in some applications it isnt recognized as a proper controller which can be annoying as when i was trying to set up a fitness profile i had to go grab the controller.
The Xbox controllers, on the other hand, work well from over 30 ft away so I am puzzled why the remote was made to have such a weak signal in comparison
The signal from the remote to the Xbox is so weak that you have to aim it directly at the console and be within about 5-7 feet of it for the remote to work.
Works as it should - big issue I have with this remote is the battery life
Other then that works as it should and I use it everyday.
I also need to grab my cable box remote to power it on and off as well as to pull up my DVR list or to record something on my DVR.
With all the TV integration hype these features are glaringly absent from this media remote, the loss of Kinect as a mandatory interface just enhances the lack of those interfaces on the XB1 Media remoteAdditional food for thought, both 360 remotes by Microsoft have full number pads, which for the 360 are purely vestigial.
Pros: Sleek design, easy to use, and good priceCons: Directional pad can be a little TOO sensitive took a little getting used toGreat design for the XBOX One's new remote
I also wish it had a number pad (only thing keeping a 5 star rating) but overall if you are using your Xbox for cable/video and not solely for gaming I highly recommend this.

I'm looking for something now a little more comprehensive, with X Y B A buttons and the like, but this remote will not disappoint for what it's made to do.
A bit pricier than the off brand remotes, but I would buy it again
The one positive I will say is that the remote is nicely designed
I'm a bit disappointed that the remote uses LOS (line-of-sight) as opposed to just Bluetooth.
The Xbox One Media Remote arrived today, and after just a couple of hours with it, I have to say I like it quite a bit
The backlit buttons are super useful too! using it in a dark room is not a problem at all
The remote lights up when you move it which is great for a dark theater room.
The remote is high quality and lights up when you first touch it,which is great when you are using in a dark room
this little guy has great ergonomics, making navigation in a darkened room easier than i've found on any other controller
The best feature in my opinion is the way that as soon as you pick up the remote the buttons all light up this is great when watching TV in a dark room as I often do
