While my daughter was disappointed that she could only find the "blue" recorder on Amazon (she'd wanted teal), she was delighted to find that the photograph just makes the item LOOK blue, when it fact the actual color of the item she received is much more of a teal than a straight blue.

By the way, walking while playing recorder, like the Pied Piper, is a great way to develop your lung capacity and enjoy playing while hiking in nature while getting a nice workout, and plastic or cheap wooden recorders make this a fun and safe endeavor.
