Reviews around feel (5.00 of 5)

  • I think you could find similar products outside the Yamaha brand, but this pedal has a really nice feel.

Reviews around quality (5.00 of 5)

  • The build quality seems great and it works well but because they did not include a tightener to attach the hammer, it keeps coming loose and becomming detached once a day
  • This is a simple, no-frills, good quality bass drum pedal

  • This pedal got four stars only because it is not top quality

Reviews around foot (5.00 of 5)

  • That said, I'm a heavy footed, heal up bass drum player -- but if I were gigging instead of messing around in my home studio -- this would be a deal breaker for me.
  • I am a beginner and not yet can tell the difference from this solid starter foot pedal and the high end ones which can be quite pricey
  • Awesome pedal allows for great foot control and balance!

Reviews around bass drum (5.00 of 5)

  • This is a simple, no-frills, good quality bass drum pedal
  • If you're in the market for a good, decent bass drum pedal, ignore the marketing hype regarding "ninja bearings and various cams, etc

Reviews around design (5.00 of 5)

  • Tye beater itself is also very nice and tge pedal has a very nice sleek design and I highly reckoned it, very durable.
  • Since my Base drum pad didn't have a very good design of its own, I found myself having to readjust the floor position of my pedal after each song played.

Reviews around balance (5.00 of 5)

  • It's light, simple, and boasts remarkable balance, speed, silence, and touch right out of the box with no adjustments.
  • Awesome pedal allows for great foot control and balance!
  • I like a base plate to make the pedal feel more stable, but if you like a good, balanced pedal, this is for you

Reviews around action (5.00 of 5)

  • Action is very smooth and fast
  • The action is very smooth, it feels very comfortable and it is fully adjustable
  • The action is smooth but maybe just a little noisy, although with some 3 in 1 and find adjustments I believe this is easily resolved

Reviews around weight (5.00 of 5)

  • In an age of needlessly overbuilt pedals whose weight and complexity sometimes obscure their supposed advantages, the 7210 is a beacon of musical functionality and effectiveness
  • Who won't like it: metal, fusion, and prog players (who probably won't be interested in single pedals anyway); very athletic/super heavy hitters (who may miss having twin chains and a solid baseplate); inveterate tinkerers (who will want more adjustments).Who will: travel-light gigging drummers (who will appreciate its collapsibity and light weight); classic rock, gospel, blues, country, and traditional jazz players; hipsters/indie rockers who want a retro 70s/80s vibe without the squeakiness and temperamental springs of vintage equipment
  • easy to use, nice foot board, nice feel, light weight
