Great mixer and the vocal effects are perfect, but amazons 2 day shipping was 3 days

I mostly use the Tascam to handle the reverb, which frees up the other effects for vocals on the mixer.

Sounds good, easy to operate, very quiet, effects are great.

If you're looking for a good home mixer with nice effects and a great sound, you can't do much better for the price.

This Yamaha does have nice features and might grow on me, compressor alone was worth the purchase.

Being able to listen to one or more tracks via headphone or a monitor from the computer/DAW while laying down subsequent tracks or just playing along to a previously recorded tract as an accompaniment during practice is a great feature

All the features are awesome and the sound is wonderful

As a gearnut, I'm always looking for pieces with great specs, versatility, and a budget friendly price

Solid build, not too big not too small...looks good,, sound nice

It's a decent build, I think the Mackie profx12 is more solid and I have had great luck with it

The built in compression is useful for recording drums.

Of course, make sure you select the correct playback device in Windows once you do

This mixer sounds pretty good, works seamlessly as a class-compliant device with the Mac (OS 10.9 tested).

So, overall, a great device for the price for my purposes!

The drivers from Yamaha worked perfectly and the mixer is showing up in Windows with a clean Device Manager and in Reaper with full functionality

This product is perfect for just about any implementation

I was lucky enough to compare the preamps and the effects to a Behringer QX mixer, and the Yamaha was better to my ears

There is a scratchy sound on both of channels One and Two, either with the compression engaged or disengaged

There are plenty of good things about this mixer, but I'm just going to note two things I dislike about it

The overall appearance is great and is a great unit the only thing I didn't like is the on board effects....was not impressed at all the parameters could have been a lot better

This unit is super quiet and the one knob compressors are sweet

After talking to a Yamaha support rep (who was very knowledgeable and very helpful) it was determined the unit was probably defective
