An elegant and powerful way to expand your traditional audio set up to include streaming services

One of my favorite ways to use it with the Marantz is to tell the Alexa to send music to the WCX-50 (which pairs fine with the Echo for receiving audio) and then telling it to turn on the Marantz and play music.

My Yamaha RXA-1040 home theater sounds really, really good, the way you expect Yamaha equipment to sound.

You can access an advanced web interface, which looks like it was designed in 1996, but is the only place you will find every single setting and feature available for the device.

the set up was super easy (I'm using the wired connection) using a I pad mini with the MusicCast app

If you have a nice stereo that doesn't currently have any type of casting technology or find your current set up lacks fidelity or robustness, then this is a wonderful choice that will have you tip toeing through the house easily and with really nice sound

The Yamaha is a great looking, versatile component that could find its way into many different setups.

It also looks great and I love the look of it

I also listen to "Pandora" as well as some additional net radio stations

It can select the different inputs, access favorited internet stations with 6 presets, and pause, play, skip and go back to prior songs.

I am tempted to get another one to connect to my older Yamaha receiver and gain MusicCast capability on my main stereo

All the functions I have tried have worked without a hitch

Although, I wonder whether Yamaha developers could, too, for example by getting the WXC-50 to retrieve the album artwork from the audio file directly at the moment when the audio file is being loaded for playback, but then that may be a question of the DLNA Application Programming Interface available functions, and perhaps any performance considerations.

Setup was extremely easy and sound quality is excellent

However, I did not like the build quality of the Bose and Denon due to the plastic

I love the WXC-50 when I am working around the house because it allows me to select my music and forget it

One of the most asked questions that I have seen (that I also had) was that the WXC-50 is unable to read USB Pendrive's higher than 32Gb and that it is also unable to read External Hard Disk Drives

Offering many different interfaces, the WXC-50 is capable of interfacing with just about anything you want to throw at it

I also noticed that if my iPhone is close to an in-use microwave, the microwave interrupts the App.
