The mid range is a little lacking, but not enough to say this isn't a great sound system because it is.
I'd rate the sound quality as good, but not a match for a good 5 or 7 speaker system.
As background, I use to own a really good sound system with Pioneer Receiver, Paradigm Center speaker, Paradigm Studio side speakers, Paradigm rear speakers and Mirage front speakers.
It will not duplicate the sound experience of a good 5 or 7 speaker system
If you expect it to give you the complete surround experience that you get from a good 5 or 7 speaker system you will be disappointed.
And yes, now i'm bumbling about with three remotes (TV, satellite, and soundbar) instead of two, which means my next purchase should probably be one of those smart remotes
It works as a remote for the soundbar and let's you play music from your Ipad, or Net Radio, or various streaming services such as Pandora and Spotify through the Soundbar

great sound, very pretty design , well packed , the only bad thing is that de interface is ver unstable , the app to control multiform is very confusing.
Overall, while this is a high end setup, the sound quality and sleek design really do make it stand out.

MusicCast is cool but other systems offer that too.4K pass thru worked fine too.
