Why on earth are so many people afraid of changes?
-
Ultimately, I think people will find that he still refuses to censor himself.
-
The result is music that is so pure that quite frankly it doesn't take a scientist to see why it freaks people out
-
Some people complain that the avant-garde sounds serve to hide deficiencies in the songs (which may be slightly more true on A Ghost is Born), but I think those sounds are very important to the album, tying every thing together very beautifully
-
There is a reason this album is so critically lauded; it's the single most representative portrait of 21st century America that has been painted thus far; a people, hopeful in the face of a mechanical world
-
This seems to be one of those discs that people love it or hate it
-
Many bands evolve over time, and I hate people who cry about it.
-
Most people should love it
-
I beg you... don't encourage these people
-
This album in more fragements, of which strong singles such as 'Heavy Metal Drummer' may entice people in, then expose them to 'Pot Kettle Black' or 'Reservations'.
-
I beg you... don't encourage these people.

For one thing, with the intricate sound of this album, there's a real noticeable difference from the mp3.Also, I for one am tired of seeing the blank stares from cool people who have good music taste when I tell them who my favorite band is
-
People feel cheated if their initial experience with an album of this sort is anything short of orgasmic
-
I beg you... don't encourage these people

I beg you... don't encourage these people

If you spend some quality time listening to this cd, i mean really listening, not just having it on in the background while you drive or anything, but really listening, you'll see why people are so obsessed with this album.
-
I beg you... don't encourage these people
-
People new to Wilco, beware of this album - it is great for various reasons, but it will be a difficult pill to swallow for new listeners.
-
Why are so many people so protective of bands that they like?
-
People who liked the more pop-oriented Summerteeth may not enjoy it, either, although there are echoes of that release on this one (the tracks "Kamera," "Heavy Metal Drummer," and "Pot Kettle Black," for example)
-
Ever since, I've been listening to it over and over, trying to figure out what people find so great about it
-
TX when Tweedy's genius finally boiled over, killing some 70 people in the crowd.
-
This is possibly Wilco's master work; opening with a swelling of cacophony over a stead light drum beat, Jeff Tweedy sounds like a man just roused from a dream, and realizing he's surrounded by unfamiliar people and things.
-
So many people recommended it to me that I went out and bought it without hearing a single track.
-
And obviously you can see how this too would creep people out
