But it is very good quality, and the night vision is impressive.
Easy set up, easy to use, clear picture, good night vision
The picture is good for the price (40 bucks) , night vision is pretty good as well.
I wouldn't mind an antenna if it would help, especially since it doesn't support 5G. Also, and more important to me, is that when I don't sign up for their cloud service, my only option is a 6 second clip to view in the app.
Update April 5th 2018 is unit totally failed no night vision no vision at all!!!!!!!!

I own other security camera systems like the Piper security camera and nothing can compare with this YI Dome Camera,the easiest set up and connection ever

Got two, one sometimes lost connection and needs reboot, after changing the AC power adapter looks better.

My other issue is that if the power goes out or you lose your wifi connection for a bit, the camera goes dead and you have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it up and running again.
The down side is if the camera loses power you can’t access the images until it regains power.. it still saves the history on SD card and erases the oldest videos when it runs out of room
It has an issue with the connection (microUSB) port and loses power and connection
but when they lost power they would no longer connect to the internet
In case anyone has an issue, what worked for me was:Power down cameraRemove SD cardFormat to FAT32Insert back into cameraPower

Only complaint is after having this camera for a few months with hardly any substantial use, it has developed a constant intermittent noise that sounds like a cricket
but I wish that anytime any of my dogs barked or a loud noise came up it would alert me
Every other time I connected the camera, it will drop the connection and restart, and then the rotating noise woke up my finally-fall-asleep dog.

Additionally, the noise is super delayed and doesn't have sound for more than 1-2 seconds at a time
