Stopped working after about 50 shots.... terrible, don't waste your money
If you're getting into photography or just want to play around with prime lenses and take advantage of that F2 depth of field shot, this is pretty smart money to find out how much fun can be had!
The lens does include a front and rear cap (the lens cap being a nice E-52II comparable cap)
Clarity was there (even at 100% crop), colors were nice, sharpness was high and the out of focus elements were really nice and smooth looking (some lenses product an ugly out of focus/bokeh area).Moving up to f/2.8 the lens got quite a bit sharper
Although it works well, captures great color, I found it looses a lot of detail around the edges, not sharp and very warped

I noticed that colors really looked vibrant with this lens and pulling focus is ever so smooth
Not the greatest lens but provides decently sharp images
Despite the lens being f/2, it is not sharp that wide open and I shoot at f/4 or f/4.5 not only to get a sharper image but to get adequate depth of field
Unfortunately the copy I got couldn't autofocus accurately on any of my cameras, and even manually focusing, the images were pretty fuzzy at every aperture

Pretty horrible image quality, should not be priced above the 50mm they make.
It is a nice 35mm lens for the price and is lightweight and is what you can expect from a lens at this price
I'm not sure if its a defective lens, or if all the 35mm are just slower, much slower.
Plus with this kind of price, you can really see if you like a 35mm or not.

I saw the positive & negative reviews for this lens and thought it was worth a try to snag a decent 35mm EF mount lens for $90
I would not rely on autofocus with this lens, as the noise is very loud, and it seems to be very slow in acquiring focus in some situations
