These work just fine with my z-wave network controlled by ISY 994zw.

Have worked well in the time I've had them and it was nice that the colors were a bit more customizeable than other z-wave multi-purpose sensors.

The sensor is safe on the outside of the brine tank and the magnet inside.

First positioning the smaller sensor at the midpoint of the larger sensor cured the problem for one door

After having a very bad experience with some Samsung multi-purpose sensors, I wanted the most reliable zWave open/close sensor, and this one seems to be performing well so far.

Lacks tilt capabilities but smart thing hub often malfunctions and has to be reset plus batteries are cr123 and less expensive than smart thing batteries

8 months on one rechargeable batter and no issues reporting to the smart things hub in the basement.

Bought 5 of these and have replaced the batteries and now my smart things hub or piper won’t seem 4 of them...cheap and not worth the $125 I spent.

This thing stinks and broken on day 1.

I purchased it more as a test to play with the smart things hub I was given.

It reports open/closed status as well as battery level.

We've had them a few months, and the batteries seem to last and they haven't broken.

Note to those who have poor battery life; if installed in area with weak signal unit will operate much longer each cycle trying to connect, probably leading to the sort battery life experienced.

so it does a really good job staying connected, excellent battery life, and detects the sensor opening immediately.

Nexia finally got back to me and said that this device is not supported with their system.

I no longer get the dreaded "device unavailable" notice for the front door sensor
