just learn to hit your cymbals the right way and even if you have an aggressive style (which i do) you will be hitting them the right way and they will last for years.

The Zildjian ZBT 18-Inch Crash Cymbal, like all Zildjian Cymbals, is beautiful when it comes out of the box, with it's amazing finish and craftsmanship
I ride this cymbal more than my smaller ride cymbal and makes a perfect crash, too.
Nice crash cymbal, it's replacing one that looks like it was held together with brass brads and bad intentions, so hey, it can't lose.
With that said, this is a very versatile crash that will go well with most genres.
The crash are not hit any harder yet split withing a couple weeks of playing
I have split and torn the Amazon bought cymbals in several places, however, my 10" splash and 20" ride of the same brand and model are holding up nicely, the splash takes an inordinate amount of abuse, however they were not bought here
I already had a set of ZBT's (China, 18" crash ride combo, 10" splash, and high hats), We loved the 10" splash but wanted an in between cymbal
