and she said she was extremely happy with the sound and that the sound far exceeded her cheap student violin

I would suggest buying hide glue, at least one clamp for when gluing the neck to the body, a small fine tooth saw, either a peg hole reamer and or some needle files and a drill with a variety of bits and a sound post setter

Next you're going to want to work the peg holes

At this point you'll want to sand your violin with extra fine grade sand paper (this is personal preference I could have stained it right off) and then stain

While this dries take the time to fine an extremely small drill bit and drill the holes in the pegs and a slightly bigger size for the chin rest
