I guess you get what you pay for, so if you're not as concerned with sound quality, this is an easy setup, but if you are concerned about quality sound, I would try something more expensive/higher quality.

For as starting out on the cheap side of things,THIS bundle really works well, but to actually get the most out of it you will need a mixer or a power supply because the USB power doesn't give it enough juice

I use it for music recording on my laptop and it picks up the music really nice great product if your just starting out.
