I have motion sensor light around my property as well as an alarm system with motion sensor indoors

However there are options to exclude certain areas from the field of view if not needed, which may reduce the false alarm

The motion detection is customizable in order to refuse false alarms limit the motion alert area to only where you need itAll my cameras needed firmware updates.

Misses a few motion alarms, but overall satisfied with the cameras.

Alerts are triggered by almost anything, sun, clouds, car lights; but again, rather have a false alarm and dismiss it than no motion alert at all

You can fine tune sensitivity levels to avoid false alarms.

I get or only like four five seconds long and it seems to have an algorithm that once it's been tripped it doesn't detect another motion is easy so that being said you want to avoid false alarms

If left in "away" mode, there are many false alarms (i.e. the leaves on the trees are moving) and I'm not sure that all of the actual motion is captured since I have walked in front of them many times with nothing registered
