The size of this model is pretty compact and the ease of use is extremely easy.

Another awesome note is that it has an exceptionally awesome 'keep warm' function that far exceeds other rice cookers I've used

I have had this for about a week now, have made one batch of sushi short grain rice that rivaled any I have had in sushi houses, have had fresh, hot rice jook (rice porridge) two mornings this week, oatmeal one morning (check the Zojirushi website for cooking compatiblity on machines that don't have the specific functions) and fresh, hot white or brown rice ready for me when I got home, one time at 17:00 and twice after 21:00, so I can definitely say that the keep warm function works.

The keep warm function makes it taste like it was cooked fresh up to two days later

One important thing to note is that the "3 cups" refers to the cup provided, which is actually ~3/4 of a standard U.S. cup.

I never thought a more expensive rice cooker was something that might be a good thing to buy.

This is the best thing that I purchased for my kitchen all year

This thing is totally worth the money, just be sure to rinse your rice really well beforehand and to fluff it immediately as soon as it's done.

It is absolutely worth the price to get rice that good every time.

If set and measured correctly the rice comes out perfect every time.

Note it takes an hour to cook a normal serving of rice, but how perfect it is every time

just I personally wouldn't consider paying that price for another one if this one dies.
