It's nice to have when I make recordings - the Zoom G2.NU pedals have above-average drum loops, though no fill capability, and it's nice to be recording a song, use the pedal to stop the drum loop when the drums are supposed to drop out, start again when the drums are to come back in, and stop it at the end of the song
