For ice skating, I like my leggings to come down over the top of the boot a bit, and these do that perfectly, covering the ankle and my laces

They do not have any windstopper (and they don't claim to) so when the wind is blowing on a cold day, they aren't quite enough - but they are great on calm, cold days.
