I had no problems downloading the app and setting up remote viewing.

Very clear picture and "user friendly" app.

Email was setup (by turn on the option in Gmail to let less secured app access) .

Make sure if you're using Gmail to turn off double verification and ALLOW less secure apps on your Gmail in your Gmail account settings

The app is a little confusing at first, but once you play around with it you'll get the hang of it

Update 9/23/16, I'm reducing my stars to 4, the reason being is that while the app works, and the software works on my Mac Pro notebook, there is no way to review a recording using a 'fast forward ' option because it doesn't exist in the software

They have falso advertisement you are not able to view this cameras on your phone the app doesn't work

Amcrest has an app that you can install on your smart phone to view your cameras while you are away from home as well

Setting up for web access was fairly straightforward - make sure to get the correct app for your phone (there are many Amcrest apps).The user interface is tolerable.
