(note, the Galaxy S7 does in fact operate off of Qualcomm Quick Charge, and this charger does not support that system), which I think was partly my own fault for not being aware (other part was device may have been defective), customer service from Anker was excellent.

Worked great for a while now things aren’t charging all the time

For example, my Anker back up battery, which I've never had a problem charging fully overnight on my Belkin USB/outlet block, only gains maybe 20-40% charge overnight as the sole device plugged into this block, even when using the same cable.

Don't waste your time looking around for the right charging station, I did all the research for you.

I purchased this charger initially to both take advantage of the higher power output (many products' included USB chargers seem to come with 500mA to 1A chargers, even if the device itself supports higher amperage charging) and to reduce the number of electrical outlets required to keep my devices fully charged

When used with Anker multi-ports; the Chafon will maintain fast charging with an Iphone on the lighting and a LG G6 on the USB C. AMAZING!!!

It DOES NOT Fast Charge your qualified Fast Charge products (Samsung galaxy 6 edge).

I do notice that my phone is pretty warm as it charges while I type this

It's especially useful when travelling because sometimes there's only one accessible outlet in a room (especially in Europe where a converter is also needed) and up to 6 devices can be charged at once.

That's typical for USB plugs, so I'm confused as to what that other review was taking about.

I currently have something on all six ports and they all charge just as fast as if they were plugged into a dedicated charger.

So far is working as it should.
