    • This information is nowhere in the documentation, on Amazon's web page, not even in the APC web page (unless you drill down several levels).So, instead of a smart power backup, one has to use this unit as an overpriced dumb battery set

    • You would hope that Amazon would have newer inventory of these units, or that Amazon wouldnt knowingly carry defective units, but clearly from the reviews on Amazon, it's still hit or miss as to whether or not you will order an APC BR1500MS (or BR1000MS, etc) and get one that doesn't chirp
