BaoFeng Dual Push-To-Talk (PTT) Speaker Mic for UV-82 Series - Backward Compatible

    • Top button use doesn't really feel that all natural of a use as compared to the main PTT button
    • The PTT button works as it should, however the top button does not allow you to switch bands, making this just another speaker mic, there is another on Amazon for about 7.00..
    • The top has a small circular button that will TX whatever frequency you have programmed in the A/Top slot, and the larger side button will TX the freq in the B/Bottom Slot.
    • I personally would have liked to have scene a split PTT button identical to the Baofeng UV-82.
    • Speaker sounds good, buttons decent, but mic quality is not good
    • Unlike the mic furnished with the radio that allows you to use only the frequency in the bottom display, this mic permits you to use both displayed frequencies by simply pushing the appropriate button
    • Top Ptt button is the top frequency on the UV82-HP,
    • Button for a side is awkward to use.
    • Issue #1: The top button does NOT work with the Baofeng UV-5RA
    • Just wish channel 1 was the side button with channel 2 being the top small push button
    • The top button for selecting between two active frequencies is handy.
    • The button on top for A channel is a bit awkward to use when clipped to my shoulder
    • Set your most commonly used frequency to the main push to talk button, then your secondary to the top button
    • It's a bit awkward to work your primary station with the top button
    • I am glad to have this as it is so much easier to communicate without having to get my radio out of its pocket, trying not to hit any of the wrong buttons
    • top mounted button switch is hard to get used to
    • button on top dont work at all.
    • Other than that overlook, the mike is maybe OK, but is a pain to use that stupid button on top
    • Nice 2 button and overall mic for the
    • Have to hold a top button along with the side button to access second band.
    • Supports the dual PTT feature on the UV-82 radios with the top button being A (top frequency) and side button used to transmit on B (the bottom frequency listed in your screen).
    • This is the right mic that support separate PTT buttons for each VFO.
    • It worked well, although I found that I really never used the top button
