    BEHRINGER Audio Interface, 1x XLR/TRS 1x 1/4" 2X RCA USB, Black, 1-Channel (UM2)

    • This device DOES NOT support that functionality
    • The device also has Midas preamps, which make boosting whatever mic signal a breeze without having to worry about a noise floor or whatever hiss that comes with boosting a mic signal
    • so I picked this device to digitize the signal for USB input, and it works great!
    • Unless you use the ASIO protocol (not supported by Audacity directly), the only recording devices available are "Line 1-2" and "Line 3-4 - in other
    • Excellent device
    • The two most highly recommended usb audio devices I could find with solid pre amps that interestingly did not require external power
    • I would highly recommend this device for musicians and/or voiceover artists.
    • Also seems like this device has very little support and its hard to find working drivers.
    • This is a very functional, versatile, hi-res recording device great for podcasts, personal music recording, ripping vinyl to 24/192 flac, and all at a great price.
    • This powerful little device has everything you need for a small home studio or tracking on the go
    • While the device is limited to one XLR input, anyone who does voice over work for blogs and books on tape should not find this to be a limitation
    • but they didn't think it would harm the device
    • For the price this device is solid
    • At this point I'm puzzled as to what exactly is misconfigured (so I can't blame the device).Using the UMC404HD for MIDI is not essential, and I will likely move it back to the USB 3.0 port where it was working better
    • Nice little device here
    • For those of you who're looking for a portable device, look else where
    • At first, we thought this device was fabulous!
    • This is a nice device with good features
    • This thing works as an input device and you can plug instruments or microphones into it and play them
    • Maybe I just got a rare faulty device (judging from everyone's positive reviews), but it's still annoying to deal with months after the purchase
    • Reviewing the UM2 - this is a great little device but just so you're aware, this is not simply plug-n-play and start recording type device like some have suggested about more high end models
    • The device works and all but its a bit of a mission to get the interfacing to work properly on Windows 10
    • Linux support: In Ubuntu the device was automatically detected, seen in applications and fully supported with no user action other than selecting the device as input from the menu.
    • Finally I know that it is so powerful device.
    • Beautiful device
    • Overall a nice device but would have been better if there would have been an option to switch both channels to the headphones.
    • I'm going to try one more device at a different price point before I break down and get a PCI Audio Interface.
    • The Behringer website is easy to navigate and the download was quick and painless.)Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who needs a latency-free device for home recording and does not need multiple channels
    • This device is perfect for a cheap microphone to get the most out of it.
    • This is a fantastic device
    • this device fixed my static problem in mixcraft 8 proworks with my audio-technica handheld mic (stereo adapter on aux cable)and with my PreSonus Eris E3.5 studio monitors (the cable included with those only works if the RL side is to the sound card and you do aux in for the monitors, not the other way around with the aux out on the sound card)downloaded driver linked on the website and adjusted the driver settings through my daw on windows 8.
    • Awesome little device that works like a charm....
    • This is going to be the perfect low budget tracking device for my needs
    • I upgraded from a 16 bit interface so this device is a lot more clear
    • The device is MAC and PC compatible and will work with most any DAW
    • Of course, we thought it was our network, but after careful diagnosis by our IT staff, it was determined that this device is what had failed.
    • The Windows drivers really limit the device if you're using a lower-end recording software
    • Google "Combine multiple audio interfaces by creating an Aggregate Device" and you will learn the secret ways of the Mac and using this fine device
    • Fun little device
    • no other device in this price range is that versatile
    • great device
    • Amazingly Wonderful Device !!
    • One of the reasons why this device is so cheap is probably because it has only one channel, while others usually have at least two channels for stereo sound
    • Great device for a great price.
    • Unfortunately, the device stopped working within 90
    • It comes with a good quality USB cable which powers the device as well as carrying a digital stereo signal to the PC
    • It's a low price device, much cheaper than something you can reliably depend on
    • Easy to set up, this little device does its job perfectly
    • But this device is relatively solid
    • Otherwise, this device seems great.
    • this device did not come up as an asio device in any of my laptops, win 7-8.1, it comes up as a usb mic preamp in 8 in fact, and all I got out of it was a distorted whistle
    • ’d recommend spending extra for a better interface that will last.
