Well, it is kinda, sorta noisy when the cooling fan kicks in, and that fan will kick-in as soon as you get into a HOT car

so I was worried about leaving this thing in a hot car

Ps- just remember to turn it off when the car is not running it will drain the battery really quickly

I was not close to an outlet and plugged my vacuum cleaner in thinking I could quickly clean the car.

You cannot leave it plugged in (even if you switch it off), it will drain the car's battery as the USB ports are always live - this is a major inconvenience
