BIC pens don't skip, don't leak blobs of ink, last for a goodly time, and are priced well.

I agree with another reviewer who stated that the tips of the pens have to be cleaned every time you try to write.

Half the time they don't work and half the time the ink smears all over

When they work I like 'em a lot, but with the inconsistent quality they're not worth it; I'll stick to the Velocity 1.6mm.
