Paint also scratches kinda easily

It looks as if they went with the cheapest paint possible and pushed the mic out the door.

It's not too bad but attaching certain accessories to it can just rip the paint off.

In my subjective opinion, the colored versions are nice to look at with their fancy paint jobs, but the cheaper blackout edition is the one to buy, because the microphone itself is probably not going to be seen on video when used.

Also noticed area on the microphone top where the black paint was missing

Unscrewed the stand to mound it to a desk pole arm I purchased, only to find that the paint is flaking on the sides where it was attached

the mic itself is very clear and crisp, but I did notice that the finish seemed rather sloppy, the black paint on the item shows up the dirt that was present when it was painted leaving noticable imperfections in the paint work

The controls all work as they should

I bought this in 2013, use it weekly, and it as good as day one.

This includes things like Discord/Skype/etc as well as for streaming and plain audio recording

I looked up youtube reviews, reviews here on Amazon, as well as on other tech review sites, and I can say with confidence that the Yeticaster is definitely a top tier choice when it comes to above average USB Mics, and a fantastic shock mount and boom arm

I will keep you posted and update the stars when it is confirmed that the replacement works as it should with no repeat issues

The sound quality is good, but not as great as I was expecting for the price

I read many reviews online and after deciding from the reviews that this is indeed the best one to buy, well I just bought it.
