I've got a small 12" speaker that actually does a good job of separating two stereo channels, as well as does a great job with keeping the center channel from dolby sources clear.
-
Does the job decently well for the price.

In the list of devices provided, Bose includes a list that seems to do a pretty good job of exhausting all of the different devices--including two types of AT&T cable boxes
-
It also does a nice job of with the simulated surround sound
-
It doesn't have the surround sound effect but it does a perfect job.

Dialogue is very clear, does a good job at producing surround sound (especially for one small sound bar), and the bass is undistorted even at max volume
-
Though it's not true surround sound, the technology does a great job at simulating it with its two front drivers and two side drivers
