This is the replacement / standard toner cartridge for my printer and it works just great -- as expected.
Had a little streaking/hazing with a re-cycled unit and decided to get an OEM and it works just as expected (very well).
I can't be sure why the knock-offs are to be avoided because I didn't try them, but if you take the word of the original owner, it is better to pay the few extra bucks and have everything work as expected.

but they do not leak - every "compatible" I have tried does. tape the window on the cartridge when the end of life warning shows up - useful life is probably 50% again more.
It is cheap, but it prints ink too much (dark) for the tables and pictures
