I'm interested in, answers my questions, helps control my smart home, alarms based on regular presets and one off alarms and alerts, helps me manage my calendar, allows me to order and request stuff, and provides area advisory alerts

A friend of mine purchased one after I gave a demonstration of ours , we both find it to be an easy and fun addition to a "smarter"" home

Not so many "smart home" things, because setting those up takes more trouble than it is worth

The reason for this is that apparently Amazon does their firmware updates during the night when it is most quiet and this unit for whatever reason would not update even though it is in a quiet home office

I now have a Google Home and four Minis and do plan to transition the smart home stuff away from Echo/Dot.

If you don't have a home assistant like Alexa or Google Home, do yourself a favor and get one

I'm just now venturing into the world of smart home so can't wait to see what else it can do
