you want a full spectrum of lighting and a really nice looking cooler, then yes

The new fantastic looking hoses are so much stiffer than the old ones that it is a nightmare to try and maneuver them in a small case

It's a really good looking unit and is very easy to install.

In terms of aesthetics, the black-sleeved hoses gives the H100i v2 a very sleek look, and the Corsair logo on the pump is a functioning LED, in which the colors can be adjusted with the Corsair Link software

I believe this redesign gives the whole product a more of a sharper look to it, some more personality so to speak

-The looks: If you REALLY take your time with cable management, it actually looks quite classy, and the hoses do swivel on the CPU end, so you can put them in interesting positions.-Cables: you have some cables to deal with, the USB cable actually hooks up on the bottom of the block, you may have to do some tricky stuff to get that to rout nicely, I did

Silent, well looking, but the possibility of modify the length of the tube will be better, because If you have a low or mid case tower is very uncomfortable to install and to set up, but if you have a full or xl tower, buy it immediately

These factors really improved the overall look of the system

Unless you absolutely despise the look of air coolers, this cooler isn't necessary unless you plan on doing some overclocking

So far it is keeping my 4790K in the mid to upper 20's idling at stock 4.0mhz

It worked on my 4790K for about 4 years and is working fine on my 8700K

I purchased this newer model to pair with an 8700K and wasn't really satisfied at all
