I highly recommend this griddler!

This Griddler is perfect for me because it's such a great multi-tasker

Once you put the food, griddler will cool down and you'll have to wait to warm up again, so forget about making medium rare to rare steaks if you want seared medium rare steaks only if you cook super thick (I mean at least 2inch thick) and even that it will last forever.- grill plates level are flat, so your steak will be cooking in the flat that will accumulate on the plate- edges of the plates are low, and because it's flat you may see the fat spreading on the grill plate and splashing all around the griddler

The Griddler 4 and 5 were my favorite, the elite was a complete let down and returned
