We have always had a house and standing grill but this thing works just as good

One thing I never thought about is that because you're essentially cooking twice as fast, you're losing much of the sear on both sides because the meat is not cooking as long.

This thing is a fire hazard.

It uses indirect heating elements (which some people have questioned as a bad thing?), but it transfers the heat to the removable plates very well and heats up in less than 10 minutes to over 400 degrees.
