The spout doesn't function consistently, so if the pot is poured just a bit too fast or too slow, scalding hot coffee pours from either side of the spout instead of down it usually ending up on the floor

I wish there were a version of this with a steel carafe -- on lazy mornings it can take us a while to get from the first cup to the last, and it gets a bit burned tasting --

I have hated having two coffee makers on my kitchen counter (one regular brewer, one Keurig), so when our brewer bit the dust we bought this.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the K-cup dispensing is messy, tends to splatter quite a bit when using a regular coffee cup versus a portable cup, at least in comparison to our previous Keruig coffee makers
