    • unit we received was defective
    • this was a defective unit, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my next router.
    • Could be a faulty unit since it loses Internet every 10 minutes or so.
    • The unit was three months old, it had less range than my previous 5 year old technology, and even though the unit was defective per their tech analyst, I had to pay shipping for a replacement
    • Unit stopped working in May of 2018, spent three hours on the phone with tech support and they could not resolve the issue
    • Don't recommend this unit... or any dlink product anymore
    • There are some significant differences in features however that lead me to prefer the Linksys model, although another user may prefer this unit for exactly the reasons I’m not particularly enthusiastic about it

    • This unit is extremely easy to setup and works great out of the box.
    • so we disconnected it and put our old unit back in which works more consistently.
    • But for the price this is a good unit to have in a multi user house
    • If I wanted to expedite the replacement for the defective unit, the next shipping option was two day for $33, and it went up to over $100 to have the unit shipped more rapidly.
    • I do not like this unit because it could not update its own software thorough its own interface.
    • I went through the email link and was given two options - Ship the defective unit back to the company (user pays shipping), wait for them to test the unit and then sent me a new unit, which they specified could take up to 30 days or the second option was to do "crossover shipping" where again I pay to ship it to them, and they will send me another one via ground which would take up to 5 days
