The connections seem extremely solid and durable.

I have had no problems with first attempts at making a good connection using only the included mini-cutters.

And if you do need to make adjustments just loosen the screw and turn the plug - the connection is non-destructive

As opposed to soldering, the connection is essentially a touching of the cable and the plug

A VERY tiny bit of thread-lock on the screw will help it stay in place, but too much may interfere with getting a good connection between the screw and the body of the connector
