but it brings out the full value of the disc one cycle is 2 passes through the machine each repair requires 2 passes through the machine which makes one cycle here are some detailed instructions1Clean up the disc of any dirt and thurougly dry it2Set up the disc repair machine get your included cleaning cloth buffering pad and cleaning solution bottle out of their compartments3Spray disc thuroghly with the bottle about 2-3 inches away make sure to cover every inch of the disc with spray4place disc lable side down and data side up in the little holder (make sure the data side is up facing the wheel5 crank the wheel for a full turn (the way I make sure its passed only one is with the soulution droplets when I no longer see the soulution drops on the i crank for about 15 more seconds and it will be done)6Dry disc7buffer the entire disc (buffer with the radial pattern)8Repeat steps 3-

I am very pleased with the results and would recommend this as a solution if you have multiple discs to repair or if there is not a local business that can repair it for you.

I usually count to 200 revolutions before checking the disk for scratches again (make sure that you use enough solution if you use this method).

Although this did not fix the DVD I bought it for (I now suspect my DVD is corrupted) it does a pretty good job at removing scratches, is really easy to use and I would recommend it as a cheap solution to fix CD/DVD's.

You are better off just using a very mild , soapy warm ( 90 degree (Fahrenheit) )solution with a soft cloth material like an old T-shirt

don't know if this REALLY works - it KIND of cleans the disks but its not a 100% solution

I tend to use a lot of the cleaning solution so end up making my own out of distilled water and 1% isopropol alcohol.

If you intend to clean discs for a re-sale it would be wise to go with a higher-quality CD/DVD/game repair solution, and leave SkipDr to the people looking for the cheapest solution (you get what you pay for!).

It seems like the battery power option is a scam to get people to spend extra money on a wall adapter, and the instructions seem to be an attempt at hiding the amount of time and cleaning solution that it actually takes to repair a disc

I think you're much better off using a cleaning solution and a good cloth.

It is a relatively cheap solution that is the best I've found.

Not really sure if there is a good solution for repairing a damaged DVD unless you use a high end polishing machine that is professional grade.
