Accuracy has been very good, with only occasional need to correct individual words

Tried with a USB mic instead and the response time is extremely slow for speech and the accuracy is appalling

It took less than 3 minutes to set up and has good accuracy.

There is an additional function it performs called "Improve Accuracy" which is under the Sound button.

With this Improve Accuracy function, you just read, and apparently it understands what you are doing, but it's a little disconcerting after 15 years to not see the color bar progressing as you read.

Whereas I can only type at about 60 words per minute, I can maintain over 100 words per minute with Dragon with much greater accuracy and much less effort

To give you the short executive summary - my previous experience with various DNS versions is that they are the most Janus-faced, trick-or-treat programs in the PC world, capable of astonishing dictation accuracy and speed, but a buggy mess that oftentimes didn't play nice with several other major programs in the PC world, and were sometimes impossible to install and uninstall properly

The accuracy is better with every version.

The software has built-in procedures to improve accuracy, so I suspect that the mistakes will become less frequent as I use the software more

It just might be, many 4 stars and the 5 stars people are new users:Not many satisfied users said they upgraded from D S 11 or 12, so of primary importance is whether or not Dragon 13 is faster and more accurate than Dragon 11 and 12.Now my question is, if I pay the aggravation-price required for Dragon 13 to work, is 13 much faster and more accurate than D S 12.5, as well as, faster and more accurate than my 11.5

I also created several profiles it for outside (winds, aircraft passing) use, as well as for indoors, and this seemed to work well.
