Tried to load this game but was forced to accept having a very intrusive DRM and marketing tool loaded onto my system called STEAM

But I hate the DRM so much that I'm going to take a pass on the Napoleonic expansion pack, and I'm pretty sure I'll never buy a game with this kind of DRM again.

But really, I have the same philosophical issue most of the other reviewers have with the intrusive, mandatory DRM

But, with the increasingly absurd DRM, it just is not worth it

People who go around on amazon reviewing PC games that have DRM without playing the actual game are destroying PC gaming more than the Piraters!CA could have released a much more intrusive DRM such as securom but they chose Steam, which is NOT spyware, DOES NOT require internet access to play everytime (ONLY ON INSTALL PEOPLE) and if you are reading this, then you have internet access

I really hate steam and drm they should tell up front you are renting a game license not print internet connection required for activation in small print on the back
