    Empire: Total War - PC

    • I did not have this stupid STEAM system installed on my
    • Regarding Steam: Steam is a great system for most people and is a bit frustrating for others, I understand, but for me being able to download all the games I've purchased after I wipe my harddrive is a big plus
    • Runs great on Vista 64 Home Premium, no crashing, and I love the new diplomacy system
    • Watching units fight in melee is a real treat, especially since some of the unit battle animations are extremely detailed/complex.-I love the technology/research system, and taxes are way easier to manage in Empire than in Rome.-Diplomacy is much more intricate, and I think it's a major improvement over Rome (some disagree with me on this).-Agents like gentlemen (researchers, duelers)
    • Why Sega felt it necessary to piggyback their game on the back of some invasive system snooping from some unknown yokel company is beyond me
    • We purchased that right in good faith that this would be possible, but sadly, due to their desire to secure more funds, prevent piracy, and a sincere amount of laziness in working with Steam, TW has created an insanely frustrating and buggy system that will likely drive consumers towards piracy who simply want to play the game that they purchased, AND, moves like this by TW will encourage more consumers toward piracy in the future
    • Empire total war like all total war games require a hefty system to run at a great frame rate
    • My system is NTFS as well
    • They are better now than of old, but still I don't like the system of entering game through a third party
    • medium and large scale naval battles make my system lag like crazy.
    • If you want to play a friendlier combat system I would recommend the Cossacks series, and if you want a more advanced building system I would recommend Civilization series (Or the original Cossacks for both), and if you want both, but if you are willing to go out of this particular Era, I would highly recommend Rome Total War.
    • i know steam isnt the optimal system and there are
    • I personally can not load games & I have a more than adequate system
    • The unit choices were fairly good, a easily learned system for goverment, and a fairly complete set of minor cultures.
    • Love how easy the controls are to pick up, the immensity and detail of the battles, the fact that there are now actual Naval battles, and a very much improved diplomacy system
    • The trade and taxes have a better system than Medieval II Total War
    • In addition, be aware that the game is a system drain like few others I've seen.
    • Like many others, I'm an avid Total War fan with a stellar system
    • Though I did not like the simplified tax system at first, I much prefer playing with it now
    • It isn't too complicated, so new players can easily pick up the skills needed to play the game and the tutorial system is helpful but not annoying (I.e. It doesn't pop up every five seconds, but it still helps when you need it
    • Suffice it to say that Steam is unnecessary and annoying, and also draws precious system resources away from the game.
    • As far as I can tell, I have a compatible system and graphics card.
    • Though I did not like the simplified tax system at first, I much prefer playing with it now
    • and i have one of the best systems out there-Dell XPS.
    • The color and pageantry of warfare in this age lends itself well to gaming (ask any old-time wargamer), and E
    • Just enjoy M
