I have noticed some concerns in some of the other reviews with earlier Epson printers and ink clogging, so I was watching closely to see if that might happen with this printer as well.
-
I sent this review to Epson when they asked me for one, and they rejected it, refusing to publish it.
-
I purchased the optional roll paper adapter, and a roll of 17"x100' Epson fine art matte paper which has a shelf life of over 100 years!
-
Kudos to Amazon, as usual, immediately set up a replacement and I will call Epson regarding the new unit, when it arrives
-
I purchased a SureColor P800 and when it arrived, I chatted with an Epson Customer Support person who informed me that the unit was a gray market product
-
I called Epson with the unit's serial number and they confirmed that the model sold was for International sales
-
Worst epson printer I have ever owned, and I have had quite a few Epson printers.
-
After contacting Epson P800 support and dealing with several people I was finally informed that the unit had a hardware issue but the serial number on my printer was not suppose to be sold in the US so Epson would not honor the warranty.

I had to send this printer back because Epson would not warranty the serial number--not for sale in the US.
-
My old HP was a piece of dung so this Epson is better

Printing quality overall is very good and also with 80 ml of ink more economical than the less expensive Epson printers.
