The high end Epson papers like Traditional Photo Paper, Signature Worthy, Premium Luster, Premium Glossy are giving me really superb results

That might sound a bit obsessive, but if you are really focused on the best results then you really want to avoid touching the paper surface before (or right after) printing.

The finished product is better than what my Stylus Pro used to be and my work is selling better as a result, but that extra work and expense should not be necessary.
