We appreciate the secure non-WiFi connection, it reaches surprisingly far (even outside in the yard), and it has all the options we could want

Previous to this, about a month ago, the camera lost connection to the base unit and had to be reconnected, which took me about 20 tries

We hated the WiFi connection as it would turn on and off in the night

The connection between camera and receiver is great

less than 2 weeks after our purchase, the connection between the monitor and the camera was lost and couldn't be repaired - only when both were a few feet apart would they work

The charging cable has a weak connection to the monitor so if the cable gets moved at all it can stop charging even though it looks plugged in, or it comes unplugged totally very easily

The fact that it didn't run over wifi but has a direct connection between camera and monitor was a plus - in terms of security and not clogging up the wifi bandwidth

After the update the connection continued to lose and the image quality dropped considerably
