This is a one star review because of how disappointing EVGA's customer support was, and how blatantly they abandoned their early customers with the FTW2 announcement
I tried Nvidia, EVGA, and Amazon customer support to get a free game code, and no luck :-(
But after experiencing how difficult EVGA customer support is and how unwilling they are to take responsibility for their mistakes, I returned my EVGA card and bought an ASUS card instead
I love EVGA products, and their Customer Support is great
EVGA's customer support told me to get a new one, but this one is so sold out everywhere
The power supplies were not designed for high power add in cards.08G-P4-5170 1683 MHz boost with blower cooling, requires only a single 8pin connector and draws 150W, no backplate (Blower)http://amzn.to/2v2fkms08G-P4-5171 1683 MHz boost but adds ACX3.0 advanced cooling requires one 8-pin and draws 150W, no backplate (uncommon model)http://amzn.to/2hsIA1408G-P4-6170 1683 MHz boost with blower cooling one 8pin 150W White LED, adds backplate
This could explain why I have had some issues with BSOD crashes while gaming or doing video editing
I'm loving it!No complaints as of yet

This thing has had no issues even with a moderate overclock.
I must say the backplate does look nice, and its a good thing nvidia started including them on more mid tier cards.
A sad thing is that the card is outside of the USA and I have to pay for the shipping (to USA) and take care that the card will be in USA within 30 days return period
Best thing I've ever chosen to buy for my computer ever
I only have a 1080p screen, so this thing was kinda overkill
Now I understand fully custom water loops are often more reliable (at a hefty price) and offer better cooling capacity, but for my needs, I figured AIO units were perfect for my goals
This card stuck out to be the best price to performance ratio
PRICE.All around its an amazing card for a respectable price
I would recommend to anyone who needs the upgrade, great card at an affordable price, but you may want to verify that the one you buy has the new installed thermal pads to reduce the risk of it catching on fire.
I picked this up at Fry's for Amazon's price right after my old GTX 970 FTW burned itself.
EVGA claims this card is very quiet and efficient, which they accomplish by setting the card's fans to not kick in until the card
This is a great card and generally evga has a great reputation
The BIGGEST problem with this card that I don't see many people talking about is that EVGA (like many other manufactures) switched from using Samsung memory to Micron memory
I don't blame EVGA for receiving another defective card
When I called newegg they said that EVGA are the ones that would refund me and they refused a refund
If you want to do 4k all the time get a GTX 1080 TI, or even a 1080, as the fan noise will bug you late at night
The fans are quiet, even with the BIOS update I did not notice any difference in the fan noise.
RMA 2 swapped the thermal pad and vbios updated card from RMA 1 due to a loud clicking noise that exceeded the noise level of the fans as fast as I've seen them go (about 30-40%)RMA 3, if approved, will be the same as RMA 2 since the new card has an identical, though slightly quieter noise issue
Absolutely amazing!I recently upgraded components in an older desktop to meet the requirements of new games
Amazon is as great as always, still doesn't take back the frustration and time wasted

I didn't know about the design flaw at the time and thought it was just a lemon
Then I see online how there are design flaws in the FTW cards, and how these issues are addressed in their up and coming FTW2 models

Lost a star for the idiot who gave a white card that kind of warranty...and for the pay first to ship first where a dusty white card may get rejected ANYWAYS and you lose the money flat out
Because of that, I'm bumping up 2 more stars and now recommending it to my friends & family
Because of that, I'm bumping up 2 more stars and now recommending it to my friends & family
Also the lack of preapplied thermal pads takes off a star
I heard reports that this edition has over heating issues

Card is nice but there is already a recall on it with Heat issue where a thermal pads are required.
Card is great, out of the box runs everything I play at 60 fps and no heating issues.
I updated the BIOS to the new version right away for the higher fan speed to reduce the possible heat issue
Amazon is as great as always, still doesn't take back the frustration and time wasted
When I registered my product on the manufacturers website there were no indications regarding my card was also a part of the overheating batch
I got one of the initial bad batches of cards that would possibly catch fire

Just to be clear, I understand that there are bad batches, and I don't blame EVGA for getting two defective cards (however unlikely that is)
Fallout 4 always had a bad framerate problem when in the city.

I don't have all the latest games, but it runs Doom, Fallout 4 and everything else I've thrown at it on ultra without a problem
I got it so that I can play some single player games on high settings in the future like fallout 76, red dead, cyberpunk, etc
Witcher 3, Dark Souls 3, and Metal Gear Solid 5 all over 60fps with no drops maxed out at 1080p (Combined with an i5-6600K and 16GB DDR4 RAM).
It eats up games at 1440p with upwards of 120fps, games like The Witcher 3, DOOM, Dark Souls 3, Overwatch, ect
These titles include The Witcher 3 (so pretty I wept), Dark Souls 3, DOOM, Overwatch, X COM 2, ect, The Division (even though its buggy as horse shit because Ubisoft), ect
The card performs very well in games and I can play Dark Souls 3 on the highest settings/60fps.
